I got the Sun Oven a few days ago and I am having soooooo much fun! So far I have baked blackberry cobbler, beef stew, “boiled” eggs and brownies. I also heated water with some tea bags in it for a jug of iced tea. Tomorrow (weather permitting) I plan to try a pork roast that I will shred, cook a bit longer with BBQ sauce, and make sloppy joes!
I am a blogger, so I can’t wait to blog about my Sun Oven! I’m taking lots of pictures for the post. My husband and I are building an “off-the-grid” homestead from scratch (we start building our home next spring), and the Sun Oven fits perfectly into the sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle we are striving for.
