Actor Ed Begley Jr., an ardent, sometimes eccentric
environmentalist, is bringing his wife-exasperating watts-watching to
reality television

benefiting adults and children affected with AIDs and orphaned

The tsunami of December 26, 2004 ripped through the southern Asia
island of Sri Lanka taking many lives and homes. But the sun will soon
be harnessed to help tsunami victims to reestablish their lives.
On September 30, 2004 a dedication ceremony to launch the first solar
powered bakery in the Eastern Cape was held near Willowvale, South
Africa. This project is a joint effort of The Women's Advice Centre and
SUN OVENS International, and was partially funded by an Innovation
Award from the World Bank.
