Happy Valentine’s Day.

We started ours with a mixture of  (non-solar cooked) heart-shaped and, blob-shaped pancakes (I don’t have a heart-shaped pancake ring.)

Luckily, there was enough sun on this partly cloudy day to enjoy some Sun Oven baked eggs for lunch.

It was the first time I’d used the heart-shaped baking molds that have been taking up space in my cupboard for years.

Solar baked eggs, with or without the fancy baking pans, are easy to make. If you remember to preheat the Sun Oven and bring the eggs to room temperature before baking them they’ll be ready in 20 minutes.

If you want some bacon to go with them get that going first. Solar cooked bacon takes 30 minutes to an hour. To see how it’s done click here.
