Before I owned a Sun Oven I did very little baking and I still wouldn’t call myself much of a baker. I’ve had more culinary disasters with cakes, cookies, and breads than everything else combined.

I’ve managed to leave out everything from the leavening agent to the sugar, and burnt more cookies (yes, even in the Sun Oven) than I care to remember. Once I left the house with a batch of baguettes in a hot (conventional) oven and luckily got home before the house burnt down. So sometimes, like today, I go the easy route and use a mix.
