Oatmeal breakfast bars

Canned, sweetened condensed milk makes it easy to throw these breakfast treats in no time.

Easy Solar Breakfast Bars


1 can (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup coconut oil

3 cups old-fashioned oats

1 cup almonds, toasted and coarsely chopped

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 cup raisins

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon


Set Sun Oven out to preheat. Line two baking pans with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the milk and coconut oil. Stir in the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, raisins, and cinnamon; mix well. Divide the mixture evenly among the two prepared pans. Use moistened hands to press evenly. Cross stack the pans in the Sun Oven and bake until set and golden, 35 to 45 minutes (top pan will bake faster). Cool on racks in pans. Use parchment paper to lift out of the pans. Cut into bars.
