A few weeks ago we had a yard sale and, in addition to the merchandise, I set my Sun Ovens out to attract attention and bake cookies for the customers. Our neighbor had been wondering what they were since we moved in last fall. He can see them in our back yard from his kitchen window and had concluded that they were devices for making tea. Considering the fact that most days I have at least one of them set up, and quite often both are busy cooking or baking, he must have thought we drink a lot of tea. I got quite a chuckle out of that. After clearing up the misconception, and offering him a cookie, I remembered that a Sun Oven is indeed a device for making tea – among other things – and this afternoon I made a nice batch of Sun Oven Sun Tea.
